After the sad event, we can collect your pet from your home or from any private or public veterinary clinic.
Our vehicles are specially equipped to transport your pet and are approved by the Veneto Regional council and authorised by the Veterinary Service in conformity to the latest national and EU requirements.
The ARGO quality system is certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2008) and our environmental management system conforms to UNI EN ISO 14001 (ISO 14001:2004). Both certifications were first achieved in 2006 and have been renewed every year since.
After death, your faithful friend needs to be cremated in an incinerator recognised by the competent authorities as conforming to the requirements of the latest EU legislation. Under Regulation 1069/2009/EC (harmonised since 04/03/2011) your pet's remains are classed as Category 1 material, and must be disposed of in a Category 1 incinerator or other Category 1 system recognised as conforming to the Regulation's requirements.
ARGO provides an extremely rapid service. We guarantee the collection of your faithful friend and his final journey to cremation within four hours of receiving your call. Our own Category 1 incinerator, and all the other Category 1 systems we work with are under the direct control of the Ministry for Health and issue all the necessary paperwork to certify cremation according to applicable law.
ARGO can also provide your pet with an eternal resting place. The ARGO pet cemetery helps you to remember your pet for the joy he gave in happy times, and for the comfort he gave in times of grief.
Whenever you feel sad or lonely, you can come and visit your pet to remember the happiness he gave you when he was alive.
The cemetery is maintained directly by Argo.
ARGO also offers you an individual cremation service at our Category 1 incinerator at Via Palermo 51, Padua (recognised as conforming to Regulation 1069/2009/EC). Your pet's ashes are collected and presented to you in an attractive wooden casket. In this way, you can take your pet back home with you once again.
As things stand in the Triveneto region today, no service is provided for pets that die in private veterinary clinics or at home. More often than not, pet owners are obliged to break health and hygiene regulations by transporting the body in an unauthorised vehicle and by burying the remains in an illegal manner (in gardens, fields, riversides), risking the contamination of underground water and consequent criminal proceedings, or disposing of them as household waste, risking the spread of disease.
The Veterinary Police Regulation approved in Presidential Decree 320 of 08/02/54, Regulation 1069/2009/EC of 04/03/11, Legislative Decree 502 of 30/12/92 and subsequent modifications and additions, and the Ministerial Decree of 29/09/2000 define the remains of animals as Category 1 material, to be disposed of in a Category 1 incinerator or other Category 1 system recognised as conforming to Regulation 1069/2009/EC.
We guarantee the collection of your pet's remains and their transport to our own Category 1 incinerator at Via Palermo 51, Padua (recognised as conforming to Regulation 1069/2009/EC) or to one of the other Category 1 systems we work with.
Our vehicles are approved by the Veneto Regional council and authorised by the local health authority's Veterinary Service, who set requirements for transport in compliance with the said EC Regulation. Our own incinerator, and all the others with which we work, are under the direct control of the Ministry for Health and issue all the necessary paperwork to certify cremation according to applicable law.
ARGO guarantees the collection in the shortest possible time from the call in the following areas:
Our vehicles are specially equipped to provide the perfect "taxi service", to transport your pet from your home to the veterinary clinic or to a grooming service, safely and without stress.
